    Hi Guys,

I purchased a Valentini Puffer and I have had him 2 days now. I have not seen him eat at all since I put him in my tank. Is this a stress thing or what?

He is swimming around exploring and looks happy but I don't want him to starve.

I have tried Dried blood worms, frozen blood worms, frozen brine and mysis. Frozen Cylopods as well as dried shrimp.

Has anyone experienced this and how did you resolve the issue?

    TIA!

It could be a stress thing, but he could be used to only eating shellfish.

Look into getting some ramshorn snails for him to hunt.

I have live ghost shrimp I bred and he did not even flinch at one of those while in quarantine but I will definitely try the snails. I have only been using them sparingly for my GSP's as I cannot for the life of me keep enough LOL
