Looks like alittle left over food. Just take it out of the tank and rinse it, then put it back in. After you do that take a pic and show me please!

What caused it?

What caused it?

Well there was probably some leftover food that your fish didn't eat and light had hit the leftover food right on, so algae started growing.

How long ago did you put the TSS+ in? Sometimes it attaches to the decor and it kinda looks like that picture. At least it did ime.

Edit: I need to read better! You put it in two weeks ago. And that stuff just recently showed up? Then it probably isn't the TSS.

Hehehe!! Maybe it is just because I use that corner filters? The lady at the pet shop told me to rather buy another filter.... But she also don't know what that things on the decore are.

Thank you all!!

I'm glad I went to the pet shop to buy a siphon... Because I got my ph tested and it was 8.6!!!! So I got "ph down" and a ph tester.

UHoh. Please don't mess with your pH! That can cause more problems than anything. Do you have a GH/KH test kit?

No I don't

It can be very useful. If your KH is low it can render your pH unstable and prone to crashing. Do you have other water tests?

No unfortunately not.... I'm in South Africa and the test here are around R400... That's about 4$ that doesn't sound much but in SA it is a lot of money

Drat. Well, can you get your hands on a piece of limestone, coral or seashells to act as a buffer if your pH does drop?
