My new glowlight school - so little

Got 6 (should have gotten more) and I didn't realize how small they were until I saw them in my qt with the 2 black skirts (will join 5 already in the display). They have held their own so far and are getting their share of food; I was worried they might be a snack. They aren't any bigger than the amano shrimp we have in our main tank.

A snack for who? Getting more of them is probably a good idea if you have the space, they will feel better when there is more of them if there are bigger fish near them.

A snack for the skirt tetras which are so much bigger. They will be going in a 20g so not a lot of room for many more, especially when they get slightly bigger (I assume they are not full grown). I also hate having the qt set up so getting more would involve quarantining.

Just get more now so they can QT together?

I dont think the skirt tetras would go for them. Maybe just get 2 more?

The more the merrier, I would just go with 4, they will school nicely all together.

I'll have to think about it. It is a 20g, fully cycled, and if everyone survives qt will have the 6 glowlights, 7 skirts, 1 honey gourami, 2 peacock Gudgeons, 2 hillstream loaches, a snail, and 2 amano shrimp.
Is it a long?

No unfortunately not. Standard 20g

Then maybe just the 6 will be alright. As long as there is some hiding places they should be alright. Plus when they school tighter, bigger fish wont usually go for them. If the fish havent gone for the amano then they probably wont go for the tetras
