They are so cute, Carol! I love them. I am wondering if I have room in my little tank for a couple (I know that 3 is the recommended number) but I have heard of 2 working. I would get Otos but I thought Cories would be nice for a change and I do love the looks of these little dolls.
Oh I don't suppose it would work but I can dream......
Nice to see you back, Emma. Haven't heard much from you or am I not looking in the right places?
The busyness thing is one of the fun aspects of the corys. It makes them seem rather playful and friendly, and that is another good reason to have more than one at least. They also look so solemn and yet surprised at the same time, and they roll their eyes and dart around the tank sometimes looking for stuff.
Here is a pepper cory (peleatus) which is the kind I have.
Such cute Cories everyone!!! Now I want more! I have 3 pygmaeus (and will be getting more; had 6 but 3 died of unknown cause :'() Carol, those are really cool Cories you have, I've never heard of that variety. I didn't know there were any varieties of aeneus besides albino. Let us know if you get them to breed. I'd love to breed Cories some day. Thinking of maybe trying to breed my pygmaeus if I have the time and money. ;D
