My New betta !!!

Just wanted to share my new betta! I need some help naming him so comment names you think would fit him. I have been having bad luck with my bettas dying, so I’m super happy that he Is
super active and heathy❤️

I would say Sol or Sun-Beam, with the blue on the ends of his fins it looks kinda like sunbeams fading into a blue sky…

 

My yellow boy was named Sunny. He is the betta in my avatar. He was by far my favorite!!!!

His colors are a bit faded right now, but with proper care I wouldn't be surprised if he changed colors on you. I think I can see some blue poking through! Definitely keep us posted.

He also looks a little on the thin side, so try to plump him up if you can. Good nutrition will also help with his colors. <3

Ok I have been feeding him betta bio gold with 4 a day. Should I do more?

If he will eat more then sure. He doesn't look bloated at all which means he can probably handle more food. I usually recommend soaking pellets in tank water if you aren't already since it helps with digestion.

Regardless of if you feed once or twice per day imo the best way to gauge when he's eaten enough is to look at his stomach. Ideally you want a slightly distended belly after feedings that goes back down to normal size by his next feeding time.

Ohmygod. He is stunning... I'm sorry but he looks like Chris Hemsworth with that long, yellow, flowing tail. He looks like such a happy, healthy boy. Bubba suits him well.
