My new 55 gal. Setup. Whatcha think?

Looks great so far! I was thinking maybe 2 more pieces of driftwood either side of the current piece and maybe jungle val at the back? Have fun stocking it though!!

Totally would love more plants. I'm hoping the ones I have are going to fill it out more as they grow. They are quite young. As for fish there are already 9 barbs of various color. Thanks for the reply!

More wood is a great idea. I'm thinking maybe something with skinnier branches?

No problem! Have you tried out some swords? They are fairly large when you get them and they can get big & they fill out nice. I have some plants in my 55 that I wish I knew what they were they're cool..I might have to do some investigating, when I find out, I'll let you know!

Right now I have 2 crested Java ferns, 1 regular Java fern, a couple anubius, a small sword, an aponogeton and one I've yet to identify.

Haha thanks I got that in my LFS for only £3.99 (about $7 I think). Its really good and works well in my 7G.

 

Here's an updated photo about a month later. I've added some milfoil and two more aponogeton .I have also removed the fake cave and built my own from scavenged rocks. My fish (4 tiger barbs, 3 albino tiger barbs, 3 green tiger barbs and a bala shark) are seemingly overjoyed . What do you think?
