My New 29 Gal With Maple Leaf Rocks :)

  1. Piaelliott Well Known Member Member

I just finished the initial setup of my 29 gal tank.
There'll be probably a few changes - I am also open to suggestions.

    @Dawn Michele @Platylover
You wanted to see the maple leaf rocks 'in action'.
Unfortunately, I only fit 3 in there, they are huge which I didn't expect. Thanks again Dawn for the beautiful rocks!!!
I have to see how the swords grow and then probably move them around or add more :)

Current Freshwater LED Plus (highest setting in pic)
    Eheim Jaeger Trutemp 150 w
Aqueon Quiet Flow 30 (which sounds like a waterfall, inside the filter and out). My other Aqueon 20 is very quiet.
Quikcrete medium sand from Home Depot

    Red Melon Sword
    Rubin Sword
    Cardinal Plant
    Hydrocortyle sp. Japan
    Hygrophila compacta
    Dwarf sagitaria
    Half dead Marsilea crenata

And a few plants from my other aquariums: Anubias Nana, guppy grass, rotala rotundifolia, and unknown plants.

    Inhabitants: none yet

I love melon swords, they're one of my favorites. It looks like you got a nice one!

    Great layout and gorgeous plants.

[emoji106] Very Nice, I like the layout and use of the branches, looking to do something similar. Grow Grow Grow. Good Luck
