Here are my tanks - always works in progress but here they are today. Yes I got MTS real bad.

Your tanks are lovely! Probably shouldn’t encourage your MTS further but if you were to do another tank what would it be? Or are you at max tank limit (self imposed, spouse/family imposed, etc).

Lol apartment constraints but i coukd do another !

I’d like to get a 120ish and combine my rainbows, ive seen just how big they can get.
The suprise fry 40 was supposed to be my next scape and was to have barbs .. maybe odessa or regular tigers probably just the one species.
I doubt ill add any thing new in this space but if I move ….. well now lol!
Thanks for reply

Well, after 2 years I'm up to 7 tanks. Sizes from 32g to 55g , plus 1 - 15g with only Danios, used as QT.
I'm out of room now, so won't be adding more..
Right now, my driveway is fully blocked by snow. Pipe for house water froze and burst 3days ago. I have 55g stored water, so have reduced water changes from 50% to 15% temporarily. Hoping to clear driveway this week, as temps are now above freezing.
I'm unwilling to use melted snow for fish,. Concerned about pollutants.

Yeah, and that would be a lot of work too since snow is ten times less dense than water

Thanks LFS advised at least a 40 so thats what i started with .. i wish i had done 75s not 55s very little up front difference but i did not know how much i would appreciate the additional depth. The 55/s work though.

I live in the area or British Columbia Canada where the crazy heat wave hit this summer. It was 49.5 C once, and I was kinda scared that my fish would die. That wasn't a very nice experience. My fish tanks had a temp between 28 and 33 C.

Yeah, I like Purple Seahorse also. But of my cichlids were ordered and shipped from Live Fish Direct in Utah. Multies came from Angelfins in Ontario.

Thats so beautiful. The plants look so healthy :). I really want to keep rainbows right now, but I don't think I have enough space for them

Thanks! Plants are just in (well the Vals anyway) hopefully with every other day water changes for a bit and root tabs I can keep them going …or they will melt and new ones will grow up …that will take a bit. Rainbows can get BIG you can see a pic of a huge one in one of my other posts and they really do want 5-6 to be happy.I had to take the huge ones to LFS as they outsized my others. They did leave me some fry and 12 are still going from 11/15 so will see. Eventually would like a 120+ and combine all my rainbows.
