My mother is going to kill me....

I just ordered four yellow females - they are a yellow cambodian (yellow body, red fins, two yellow eyes - they match her body color lol). a dark morph pineapple (extreme black edging and yellow under color, two dark eyes), a yellow and black koi (more black with a white base and yellow over/mixed in black, one blue eye, one black eye), and a solid yellow (has a couple spots of black but is solid vibrant yellow, has two blue eyes). All of these yellow ladies are gorgeous and they are halfmoon plakats.

The good thing is free shipping, the bad thing is $13.75 a piece - if you take off what shipping would have been (between 15-20$!) i'm only spending about 10$ a piece on them, which I find resonable since the last two females I got specifically for color from breeders where each around 35$ (15$ for fish, 10$ for fees, and a split us shipping fee right around 9$ each *~18$ total shipping) and even then I didn't get one of the ones I ordered...
Instead I got professor yellow, who is currently undergoing treatment for disease to try and save her (lost rubra to it already, kind of shocking since she blew a bubble nest the night before, guess it was a farewell to me?). I asked her if she minded me getting her sisters and she gave me this look like I was replacing her...

I cannot post photos by fishlore rules because they are not mine, I however will link you the ebay page!

(The good thing is that I have places to put them, the bad thing is when she notices them two weeks after I bring them home and goes AH! because more fish lol.)

How do you suppose they arrive at your LFS?

None of my local fish stores carry yellow bettas - yes, but the thing is they aren't being shipped from thailand this time so won't spend a week in a bag, just a couple to three days tops. I probably would make a big enough fuss that they would let me drive the truck to where I was going lol.
I know how much stress they go through, which is why we shippers try to lessen that as much as possible to avoid losses do to improper packaging or stress related shock/illness. I'm lucky if my lps/petco has female bettas that aren't the size of my pinky (petco, they are normally about an inch big) or very sick (ick and other diseases that seem to get ignored, lps), or aggression issues. I'd deal with aggression issues in any of the cases, but fish that are living together already are a little easier to sort.

So stressful! I can't get to them until tomorrow (evening) and I am stressed enough, I hope they are okay for another day...I hope they were bagged separately by the seller (be stupid otherwise...specially with them being adults!). I'm going to kill me mom in this case (no one is home I just found out so my poor plants and poor fish that arrived today have been on the porch since around noon - I should have gone home when we got off early *grr*).
Remember to follow your gut feeling children, it keeps you from strangling people for being stupid...unless the gut feeling is to strangle them....>

The girls are inside now, and they sent an extra - they are truly yellow because the person who brought them in can clearly see the color (lol, that sounds bad?)! I'm excited to get home now to get these gals settled in. They are bagged separate and seem good - they did not have a heat pack and they survived high 40s overnight weather thankfully. I can breathe now.

I got a picture of each in the settle cups (have to make sure the tank they are going into is water changed first...I get back and everything is low). So right now they are spending the night in little travel cups, which is an upgrade from what they were in; inch of water in two/three inch diameter bags at three inches tall maybe. They each have a piece of ial and a stem plant. I have two solid yellows, the yellow body Cambodian is actually a yellow body with red streaked fins, neat looking.
