My Mollie is missing scales

So I noticed that one of my mollies is losing some of its scales and has a weird bit hanging from its belly. I’m not sure what would cause this cause I haven’t introduced any new fish for months now. It’s housed in a 30 gallon tank with other mollies, platys, neon tetras, and two plecos

I can't see the weird bit, but is possible the scales are from rubbing up on some decor causing some to knock loose.
