I've had him for a few weeks now and still haven't found a suitable name. He's friendly, curious, Red with silver and blue tips

He lives by himself with a Golden Inca snail in a 5 gallon tank.

I can barely make out the pic - sorry
That's funny - he sleeps on the thermometer? Mine likes his hammock - he's very personable and loves attention. He has let me pet him a few times while I feed him. I love my Betta!

Cool! That would be neat to see! Mine hasn't done that yet.... It's pretty neat how they care for the eggs too as a dad! Good luck!

yes I have heard it takes a couple weeks for them to get comfortable enough to start on there nest.. I am wondering if the water flow affects it or if that does not even matter

Well I know they don't like rushing water - I filled up my tank more so the water doesn't splash as much from the filter. Before when the water line was lower, he wouldn't go near the side the filter is on - now he does so it must be better

I have also heard if u float a bottle cap or a small plastic cup they will build the nest around those I have never done it before but you are welcome to try

Looking at the picture closer I think a fitting name would be Quicksilver that or rango ofcourse..
