Yep Tommy is at it again. He just keeps saying no more tanks, no more tanks we are out of room. Then here he comes with two new ones...2 brand new 10 gallons with the works that he picked out, and no I will not complain about it not once. They are great for a guppy trio from Dino and Ross' collection.

He is planning on adding the other side to his handmade entertainment center today, which will hold the two 10 gallons. So my TV will be surrounded by Dino and Ross' gorgeous guppies. I will never be able to watch TV again I will be watching the fish. You can check it out here just remember I am no good at taking pics and the entertainment center is not finished...no trim and only two tanks in this pic. WhooHooo more tanks more tanks...

You will have to just check out my photobucket, maybe I will get it organized one of these days.

I have them already I just cannot get them to be still long enough to get a good pic of them. The platinums and ThaI Mosaics are already in the tanks beside the TV and I will be putting the German whitetails and green mosaics on the other side. They have the most beautiful guppies I have ever seen. Well all of their fish are great but guppies got me started in this so they hold a special place for me.

Are any of these guppies the same kinds in some of your photos? I saw some that had white tail fins and they were gorgeous! I believe I have heard of the mosaics before, not sure if I have seen them.
I love guppies but have never kept them. Some day I would like to tho.
Best of luck with them. Ohh btw.. if you set your camera setting to 'sport' you should be able to get an automatic stop action while they swim around the tank without it becoming blurry.

Yes the ones with the white tailfins just look like they are floating instead of swimming. I will definitely try the sport setting on the camera (as you can see photography is just not my thing). I have to get all of those labeled in there so you can see which is which. Did not have time today hee hee I was setting up two tanks.

Well.. I can see how beautiful the guppies are in your photos. You did a great job.. but yep.. now the hard part comes with labeling all the photos, lol, I know that can be a pain and time consuming.. and who has time anymore?

If my daughter were here she would have already labeled them for me...she probably could have taken better pictures too. Why do they have to move soooo far away...me in GA and her in TX now. Oh that is a whole different story...miss her though. But since I am now on part time and kids are all grown I have really put a lot more time into my fishy babies. And Tommy and I have so much fun going fishy shopping/looking and going to auctions and gatherings...he can't wait for another one...LOL but he is not addicted. Well I am rambling again...must be one of those days.

I totally understand... Its so nice to have a hobby you can put your love and attention into, especially when the kids are grown and have moved away. You are very lucky that your husband enjoys your hobby as well and the two of you are able to go to auctions and gatherings.

Congrats on the new tanks!!! I love it when hubbies can help enable us I just ordered a couple trios of Dino and Ross' German White Tails to put in a 10 gallon tank as well. I should get them Thursday or Friday and I can't wait! Your pics are great Good luck with the new tanks.

Well I love all their guppies but I cannot decide between the German Whitetail and the Thia Mosaic being my favorite. Do we have to pick a favorite...if we do I am in trouble! You are going to love those guppies they are even prettier in person than in pics.

I can't wait I almost got a trio of the mosaics, but I decided to spend the extra $15 on cherry shrimp instead. Are you planning on breeding yours? If so, what are you planning on doing with the fry? I am just trying to get ideas for what to do with mine. I would like to raise the fry, but I have no idea what I would do with all of them once they matured...

Well I have each trio in a 10 gallon....I got two trios of Thia mosaics and they are in a 10...I guess if they have babies and they survive then I will be finding homes for them or getting bigger tanks. I have guppy grass I got from Dino and Ross and lots of my own plants for them to hide in so I guess we will just wait and see. We are going to try to start going to the meeting in ATL monthly maybe we could take some for trades....hummmm...your making me use my brain here.

I'm so jealous. I wish my husband would catch MTS. Iv'e tried and tried and tried but he's just not into it. He does listen to my fishy ramblings though. (I think he's listening lol) You're lucky the two of you have a hobby you can share.

LOL my hubbby was the same way for years then he discovered pure strain guppys and fell in love. Two years ago before me moved he had almost as many guppy tanks as I had other tanks He hasn't gotten back into them here but still enables me quite often.
MissMTS & SWilkins- I loved all the different kinds they had at the gathering.
Kate you will love those white tails

Well mine did buy my 75 gallon for me for a Christmas present. Oh and he used to buy me fish. I mean he actually went to the fish store having no idea what he was looking at and picked me out fish. They were glassfish and I had to take them back because they creeped me out and I didn't know anything about them. I tried to tell him he just needs some nice manly fish like a pirana tank. Oh well I'll keep trying. But to be fair I'm probably never gonna care who wins this baseball game he's watching lol

I did not realize what a softy my hubby was. The other day I mentioned to him that we were going to be overrun with JDs and Convicts and he asked what would we do with all of them. Well me being a big old joker and loving to agravate him said that I guess we would use them as feeders. I told him that it was the circle of life. I really was kidding him I love the babies. That should have never come out of my mouth. Now he is trying to make sure daily that I am not feeding baby fish to the adults. He told me how cruel that would be and that he would just have to make sure we had tanks for all that we could not find homes for.
