Gotta go to the radio station to pick up a prize today. The station is right next to petco. That particular petco usually has a better selection of snails than any of the LFSs in town. I might have to stop!

I am lucky like you. Both Petco's here in town look similarly clean to yours. Makes a difference when the store management cares!

 

That’s amazing! Pet shops don’t often take the time to explain the cycle, but yours does! I’m also a fan of the selection of livestock they have there. Is that a bullfrog tadpole?

That's what he seems to be! What I love about this Petco, though, is that they often receive rare specimens and switch them out every once in awhile! I've actually been going to this Petco for over 7 years, but it's only been this good for around two.

One of our Petco's used to not be so good....but they got a new store manager a couple years ago and have improved greatly! Especially the aquatics section.

Right? Even amongst advanced hobbyists, probably 99% of us can't properly house that fish.

 

Let’s not turn this into a negative discussion, the op just wanted to give credit to their local store

 

I have PetSmart by me and it is really nice like that!

 

This is a really nice petco. Puts my “good” petco to shame lol

 

Mine is quite similar... Even the glowy sign thing says "Pet Supplies and Aquatics" so you can tell there is some emphasis on the Aquatics department hah. I actually prefer Petco the LFS for Bettas and plants any day as I find the Petco stock is usually sold submersed and Bettas are just a hundred times healthier while the LFS likes to sell 3 emersed stems for $8 :/ ... I usually buy online now but I definitely love to stop by petco when I need something.
