My Lid Has Holes...

I’m using an aquaclear 50 and the output is like a waterfall so I had to make a space in the lid for the water to fall through. The lid I’m using is the topfin one.

I really want some hatchets for some top activity and I want a schooling fish that strictly stays at the top. So if you think I can’t keep hatchets, please leave suggestions

I think hatchets will do well with the other fish but I don’t understand what you mean with the lid, are you worried about them jumping?

Well, I think it depends on the personality of the fish, I have heard of experiences with people having hatchets jump out of the tank, my marbled hatchets have never jumped out, and there are two large openings. With the waterfall I think it would be unlikely they would jump out of it. You could try it, I would go for it if I were you, put maybe 6 or more if you feel you have the room.
