On October 2nd. my EBJD was lip locking with a new female. The only thing injured by the female jd was a little nose damage. It was 2 other fish in the tank that caused the injury to his side. Synspilum sub adults. As the jacks were lip locked the synspilum were picking at both their sides. All this happened in less than 5 minutes. It's been a few months and as you can see he has recovered quite well. He is 2 1/2 years old now and about 8", in a 75 gallon with a regular female. Thanks for looking.
The pictures are from Oct 2, mid Nov. and mid Dec.
