My Guppy Isn’t Giving Birth

My guppy isn’t giving birth and instead she is laying on a leaf and opening and closing her mouth while also breathing really quickly is she ok no fish in the tank except pleco

Between August 11 the day after I got them another one died a week later another died 3 weeks ago and another 2 weeks from a parasite I didn’t know much but I promise I’m good at guppy care now

Conditions were bad but it’s all good now it’s just pleco and her unless if she gave birth like just now or something

She’s been hiding for 3-4 days she hasn’t eaten flake food maybe algae though

I found her she’s still alive breathing heavily and sitting on gravel

The tank is due for a water change soon can I do that how long can she go without eating

How big is your tank? You have a pleco in there. So it’s gotta be a big one. Also when you said it’s good, what’s the parameters? Fish staying alive doesn’t mean everything is good.

PH 7.4 AMonia 0 nitrite 0 nitrate 0 it’s a pleco bristlenose in a 3 gallon I didn’t know anything about fish when I got him but I’m upgrading like in a week or two I have 3 plants java fern amazon sword and mermaid and she hides in there pregnant breathing heavily and laying there it’s been running for about 2 -1.5 years

Sorry to hear that. Water quality and temperature can be hard to control in a 3 gallon. The pleco might be too large of a burden for the tank size. Guppies don't have a very long lifespan but I encourage you to get your upgraded tank with the pleco, research and persist with the hobby.
