I have two fancy goldfish in a 30 gallon together, the two have always got along and they’re healthy, happy fish.
However this year, now that they’re mature (I’ve had them for about a year now) I’ve discovered my fantail is a female because they’ve been mating with my black moor.

At first it didn’t bother me— they would mate and eat the eggs and move on, but it’s becomming more frequent and I feel bad for my fantail, she must be exhausted! Currrntly I cannot separate them, which would have been the easy solution, so what can I do to keep them from mating? Or should I do something at all? Is it fine to let them go in like this?
Thanks!

Ps. I don’t know if it matters but...
