My geckos!

I've got three leopard geckos hiding in my mass of goldfish Love 'em all to bits! They are each so different, like slightly-less-cuddly little dogs. I'll start with the oldest

This is Amelia. She is a 2 year old Dreamsickle, a type of enigma morph. Enigmas are known for their neurological problems, and she is no exception. She can't be handled, she can't be stressed. Changes in routine or the tank have to be made on her terms. She used to be very playful and in-your-face, now she's a bit more laid back, but a little bit of her old goofy self is always shining through. One of the funniest things she used to do was put her little feet up on the front of the tank and watch me prepare her food. She was such a riot! Now, she jerks her head quickly towards any movement, rearing to go at and eat it. Makes feeding her a pain, but it's hilarious

Next up is Orchid. She's not a morph, just a plain-ol' Leo. She's pretty quite and laid back, but very adventurous, and once she gets an idea into her head, she's going to do it. Very naughty She hates Phoenix worms, but put a waxworm in front of her, and move away, cause she'll eat you too if she has to! She's real big and chunky, and I kind of wonder if she's got some giant blood running through her veins. She's a little less than a year old, by my guess.

And the last of my geckos is Raven. She was marked as a tangerine lavender, and you can see why! Great colors. I just got her this weekend. No hatch date, but I'll guess her to be about 1.5-2 months old. So far she's pretty reserved, but holy cow can she eat! She ate for the first time for me tonight, and she put back 8 1.25 inch meal worms (big chunky ones, too), a 1/3 inch Phoenix worm, and a 1 inch wax worm. Where the heck does all that go!!? Amelia and Orchid never ate that much when they were that small lol

So, I just realized... On the 19th, I'll have had Orchid for 4 months. Judging by the age others of her size when I get her are, she was only like 1, maybe 2, months old. So she actually only about 5 monts old now, not a year LOL I can count

Thanks! Any idea on what morphs you want?

I am getting four for my 55 gallon. I'm thinking Snake-Eye, Snowy, Tangerine, but I love that Lavender too! I'm still looking at all the morphs.

Just know what snows don't stay that color. Here's a pic of Orchid as a baby:

I guess you could still call her a snow, but they don't stay like that lol

Do you have any intentions of raising the eggs?

Aw I wish I could have one. My family would freak out. Totally and 100%. I was admiring a lavender corn snake the other day, wanted him soooo bad.

I'd have to do some research of course if I do consider eggs.

But it'd be a fun experience!

You could always freeze the eggs before throwing them out of you didn't want them.

One thought I had though... Could you not sell the eggs, pick up only, to an experienced breeder? Make some cash, and not have to kill them?

Here's an updated picture of Raven. I've had her almost two months (60 days on 11/15 )!

Her lavender is almost completely gone and the tangerine continues to get brighter

So pretty! I'm actually in the process of setting up a 20 long for one or two babies. lol Id like to get two, but I don't want to end up with two males. I know how to sex them as babies, but I probably wouldnt be able to sex them until I got them home.

Buy from a show and ask the breeder to sex them before you buy them
