I actually only have two pictures to share from my garden right now..... but I'm an avid gardener. Have been for years. And I'll add to this thread as I work my way through some of my favorite garden photos. I hope they bring you a moment of peace.

Those are amazingly clear and close up. What kind of lense are you using?

Wow.

edit: I showed them to my 2-year old. She screamed, "No butterflies" and ran off... we're going through a phobia.

These photos are taken with my digital - Kodak Z7590. I love this camera.

Those are beautiful pictures. I love butterflies - they are so fragile looking! Do you have mostly flowers? Also, no fair posting pics without id-ing the flowers!

Aptly named, these beautiful creatures are on my "butterfly bush".....

Also known as buddleia..... this bush was a gift to us from a dear friend when we bought the house. Every year in early Spring, I chop it down to about a foot or two off the ground. And then I watch it shoot up new branches until it hits about 12 feet tall. It's amazing!

It is a beautiful bush - I just wish it was one I could grow. It just gets too hot and dry here for most plants. I also envy the variety of butterflies - we really only have swallowtails that are common around here. Most others have been chased out of the city. Even the swallowtails are not too common any more. That's why when I find a caterpillar, I raise it (to keep the birds from eating it).
