The pleco sadly passed away rest in peace was older than my brother 13 years old

He died of dropsy 5 days ago

I remember the times when all my fish were wiped out but not my pelco but this time I can not say the same

I think you are forgetting the "2 quary catfish" that you listed a few times but I didn't see them on your list of owned or dead fish here. Did they die or do you still have them? (I also have no idea what those are, did you misspell the name?)

Edit: same goes for the betta listed in the OP

I have a 38 gallon fish tank with 2 silver dollar fish, 2 clown loaches, 3 kuhlI loaches, 1 common pleco, 2 giant danios, 1 Raphael Catfish, 1 lace catfish, 2 quary catfish, 1 betta fish, 4 skirt tetras, and 2 angel fish. I bought 14 neon tetras. All my neon tetras died, my pleco (got dropsy), 1 kuhlI loach, 2 quary catfish, 2 clown loaches, raphael catfish all died. My silver dollars have moth fungus, my 1 angel and skirt tetras have fin rot. My skirt tetras had ick. I have a gravel fish tank. I got melafix and tetra ickgaurd I wasted both medicines. I bought new hang on back filter and new heater. The heater killed the ick. I still have fin rot and mouth fungus. I added some API aquarium salt very little. Now what should I do?
Would you post a picture of your whole tank please?

Can you post the precise measurements/dimensions and if possible model/make of your tank so we can double-check the volume?

Picture of the whole tank means: a clear, well lit photo of the entire tank i.e. including top edge, bottom edge, both sides. Back up a few steps, focus, push button.

Hm, could you photograph the tank the same way you took a photo of the fish? Seems odd you can get clear photos of fish (creatures that move lots) and not of a stationary fish tank

I'm hoping this isn't trolling.

not trolling trying to take pictures from chromebook

I'm feeding the fish right now the skirt tetras are better but my angelfish got more finrot! They only have it on their top fin

Should I add more salt to fish tank?

Should I dissolve the API aquarium salt before I put it in the aquarium?

Should I also buy some Melafix with the salt

This thread is an absolute mess. Simple fact is that silver dollars are too big for your tank. The lace catfish is far too big for your tank. You now have many uncompleted schools and want to get more fish in a tank that is having such extreme die off? There's no way this can't be trolling!

If not, rehome the silver dollars and lace catfish. Don't get more fish. Stabilise your tank before getting anything else. And don't get anything else that is completely unsuitable for the tank.
Gabe, stay on topic man.
This sums up this thread haha!

Also instead of tossing your tank full of medication, start doing water changes. Have you done those at all?
Empty out 50% of the tank, and then fill it back up. Don't forget to condition your water and to match the temperature of the water going in with that going out. Do this every single day (yes every day!) until your fish start doing better. This is a way more effective cure for fin rot than tossing medications at your fish that further stress them while doing nothing about the doubtlessly poor water quality.

Can you least sell them or at least upgrade to larger system? Having those fish in the 38 for the rest of its life is like putting a dog in its kennel for the rest of its life.

Okay. It just comes across that way reading the thread, but I'll take your word for it. Have you tested water? Before the fish got sick did you do consistent water changes? The tank was very overstocked so chances are the water was bad. With these water changes the fins should begin to heal.

They really need a larger tank then. I don't enjoy having to tell people to rehome or buy a bigger tank, but the fish will need it when they begin to get around 8 inches. A LFS should usually accept them though.

I can get a bigger tank in 2 years
before they got sick I did a 65% water change every week sometimes every 2 weeks

I used to have 2 comet goldfish in the tank and I had to give them away

The fish will be stunted if you wait two years to upgrade the tank.

It would be best if you rehome them.

The angels, silver dollars, and catfish.

Surviving is not the same as thriving. Silver dollars need a minimum tank size of least 55 gallons and they do best when they're in a group of 6+.

"The recommended tank size of 30 gallons is for a single fish or pair" -thatpetplace
Again, that's false information.

every website I go on it says my tank size is good >

For two adult angelfish, you need a tank at least 34 gallons in size using this calculation.

2 angelfish: 34 gallons
4 angelfish: 58 gallons
6 angelfish: 82 gallons
8 angelfish: 106 gallons
10 angelfish: 130 gallons

Dude, I'm going to be very straight with you.
If you are not interested in taking the advice from the many, very experienced people bothering to continue to return to this thread and trying to help you every which way you can, then stop posting in this thread. You are asking us for advice. We are providing that advice. Then you keep posting how you don't want to follow that advice because it is inconvenient for you.
That's you good right. But nature and chemistry do not abide by what you want.

The fact is that your tank is poorly set-up, and your fish are suffering. If you don't want to change that. Then leave it at this.
If you do want to give your fish a better chance at life, please start listening to what people are saying.

Your choice.
