One year ago today, I joined this wonderful site and met my new family! I just wanted to take some time out to thank everyone, talk about my experience, share a bit of back story, and give an update. So uh, thank you for reading, as this will most likely be a long read!
How I Came To Join:
I started fishkeeping a couple of years ago, I started like many people, with a male betta (Neptune) in a glass bowl. He stayed in that bowl from the time I got him (in March 2014 I think) to sometime in August/early September of 2014, when I put him in a 10 gallon filtered tank. I did this because I wanted to get more fish, so after I returned from vacation (during which time I left him with a vacation feeder block...) I got three neon tetras and three albino cories.
The neons died of ich about two weeks after purchase, during which time I learned that I should've been using my heater.... *facepalm* After the neons died, I started getting more fish, which ultimately totaled in me having two guppies, two Dalmatian mollies (not at the same time), two glofish danios, three cories, and Neptune.
On the day that my Dalmatian molly died, I joined Fish Lore. Here's that thread if you want further details:

Let me put it this way, it's my family! Seriously, I recognize so many of you here, this is such a close knit community! I love it here! Most people here have always treated me with respect and kindness that's really hard to find anywhere else, and I'm really settled down here. I feel as if this is home to me, I can come here and rest and hang with the people I know and love!
Update On Me:
Because you want to know about me first, not the fish, right...? No? Oh. Anyways, what I've been up to, hmm..... Well, for one, school. Yeah, school, friends on other sites, romance mess *groan*, my YouTube channel, watching YouTube, my irl friends (yay, I'm likeable enough irl that someone wanted to be my friend! ), and other stuff too. Sorry I've been gone so much lately, I should spend more time around all you lovely people, probably would be good for me.
And for anyone who's wondering, yes, I'm still a crazy fan of Gaga. Been working on a video starring Mother Monster for my YouTube channel, actually.
Also, I have prom tomorrow night, it's going to be very few people there, but wish me luck anyways.
Update On My Fish And Tanks:
Still got my 20 gallon! And my 3 gallon betta tank! I'm no longer doing the danios though, and I have switched to a balloon molly only tank in my 20 gallon. I switched recently, but now I'm thinking of converting it into a female betta sorority. Might start a thread on it later....
Blu JaI is doing just fine, except, well, he's living up to his name and turned almost entirely blue! He used to be butterfly-like!
