My fish have been pooping white sometimes solid or stringy

Hello,
Recently I have noticed my fish have been pooping white (sometimes stringy) waste and have been acting fairly normal. Upon inspection, I can see tiny white dots floating through the tank which I assume is their feces broken up from eating it etc.. I’m assuming this is some type of parasite given that white fish poop = no food in the stomach although I watch all of my fish eat when I feed them. Is there a way to cure this? I perform monthly water changes (30%) and all of their levels are within normal limits.
thank you in advance

For internal parasites you need to give the fish a anti-parasite med. The most effective meds are medicated foods. So since your fish is still eating, I would recommend a medicated food.

Are we sure the problem is in fact parasites? I don’t want to falsely medicate my fish. If it is parasites what medicine would I give to them?

Stringy poo can also be a sign of uneven feeding times, if they aren't being fed regularly like they should, it shows up in their poo

What color is their food? That looks like normal poo to me. Stringy poo looks like spiderwebs not solid cylindrical poos. You may want to up your water changes if you think something may be amiss. I change 50% weekly. Fresher water helps with a whole lot of things.

One thing about food that has anti parasite meds, is that it supposedly will do no harm to the fish if it does not have internal parasites.
