My fish has a blister like bump on his Gill!!!

This morning I noticed that my goldfish had a bump on his gill and I was concerned so I did some googling and it may be a Lymphocystis but I just don’t want to assume and I want to know if I need to do anything if it could kill him.

Edit: he is acting like his normal self but still has this lump

Research Cyprinid Herpes Virus #1, aka: Carp Pox. That particular virus targets Koi & Goldfish. It blisters much like Lymphocystis.
