So so excited about my first proper tropical tank set up. Juwel rekord 800 110l. Just finished getting it how I want it. All real ImageUploadedByFish Lore Aquarium Fish Forum1438020908.540242.jpg plants and stones etc. Can't wait for it to cycle and then add my fish :)

I have 3 female platy and 2 danio already in smaller tanks to go in and will add 4 more danio and have pretty much decided on a bristlenose plec and possibly either a honey or dwarf gourami. I started another thread in tank stocking actually asking advice on this! Any suggestions appreciated :)

    6 danio
    3 platy
    1 bristlenose plec
    1 gourami

    ???

That sounds like a nice start. I believe I saw your other post. My favorite gourami are the pearls. I would go with just one in a 29 gallon tank. They won't pick on other fish, normally, but will pick on each other over territory.

German blue ram would be beautiful and love the rocky setup you have. They're one of my favorites ImageUploadedByFish Lore Aquarium Fish Forum1438129242.367357.jpg

It looks good, I like it! Has it cycled yet? Interested to see what fish you put in as I'm still deciding what to do with my 29gallon as well.

I'm not sure if it's cycled yet, we've just been away a couple days and got back late last night. Can't wait to test it later today and see how it's getting along!! Every time I'm near a store that sells fish I "pop in" (for about an hour) and stare at all the lovely fish I want! I can't wait to start stocking and I'll definitely put a few picks up when we do. Our platys and danios will go in first then we're adding 4 more danios to finish the school. I think we're 100% getting a dwarf gourami and a few panda corys? We'll see!!! Too many to choose from!

I'll check up on your progress too :)

    Nitrite - 2.0ppm
    Nitrate - 40ppm

    No fish yet!
