My Dwarf Gourami Is Laying On It's Side At The Bottom Of The Tank!!

This morning I found my dwarf powder blue Gourami laying on its side at the bottom of his tank, breathing heavily. His color is dull, and he almost looks like he has greyish-purple spots on his body that almost resemble bruises. I took him out of his tank and put him into a tub with low water, his breathing is getting weaker though. He won't eat.

In the days before this happened, he hadn't been eating much, and seemed to be swimming in a strange way (like rolling upside down, on his side, nose down tail up), but he always seemed to go back to normal in the end. I've had him almost 2 years.

Do you guys think it might be dwarf gourami iridovirus? What should I do? I'm so scared.

I'm sorry your fish is sick, I don't keep them anymore because of this, they seem healthy and then they are gone.
Try a 25% water change maybe it will help some, but it doesn't sound good.

He's been in the tub for only an hour, so they are all at 0.
