    Hi my friends

I saw a stranger disease on my dollar fish today. Its left mouth remains open for all time and dollar's gill is open as well. When i saw inside of its gill it seems to be a thing like a jelly on it. Whats this disease and how can i remedy it?

Sorry your fish isn't feeling well.

Do you have a Silver Dollar? Is that what you mean by "Dollar" fish?

Do you know about the nitrogen cycle?

Dose the gill appear to be swollen and redder then usual besides the jelly like substance?

It could be Bacterial Gill Disease. Maracyn and Maracy-Two should be used together to treat the fish if you can find it. Treating in a separate tank would be the best idea - hospital tank.

    Welcome to Fishlore.
