My DIY co2 set up

Hey guys and gals I just wanted to show you my co2 set up in my 20 gallon long. I just wanted to show that you don't have to buy a crazy expensive set up to have adequate co2. While I don't have stats or measured numbers I can tell you my plant life has greatly benefited and it's well worth the set up and time. Thanks for watching and feel free to check out my other fish videos.

Is the liquid in the carboy a simple yeast mixture or is it going to end up as something you can drink? Because that would be kind.of awesome.

I make my own drinks usually, this is a simple one though, I've had it brewing for over 3 weeks and I'm getting fantastic co2 strength. I used "Lalvin" EC-1118 for sparkling wine, yeast. And have added about a quarter of a pound of sugar so far. I'm trying to see how long I can keep it going. The nice part about the rubber stopper is it comes off and I can feed the yeast as needed.I buy mine at a specialty shop but it's available on amazon.

update on the CO2, my carboy is still pumping out gases! I've easily had a steady flow for a month and a half now. I cannot remember when I started now. I'll have to dig through my older posts and see. I have opened it up to add sugar and honey once, however my yeast culture is rocking out and hasn't had to be replaced.
