My cory cat has a white spot on his fin can anyone help me figure out what it is?

Looks like damaged fin rays, but if the white discoloration spreads to the back, then likely a bacterial infection.

Difficult to see but Corys have a gland behond the dorsal fin. Especially C.aeneus seem now and then to secrete some kind of protein/fatsubstance. This one looks quite well fed and chubby, so I think it is that. Harmless and will go on its own.
