-So my convict cichlids laid eggs about a 1 or so ago and they have hatched and are free swimming. I’m new to the whole fish laying eggs so I don’t know what to do so I just went to my LFS and got stuff that I thought would be okay but I’m not 100%. I bought a breeding net thing it’s like a box but it is secured to the top of my fish tank and I caught the fry and put them in there but I have no clue what I should do. Do I leave the fry in this or continue to let the parents do what they need to do. Also there are other occupants of this tank that I’m afraid will eat the fry.-

I would think you could leave them in with the parents if there are no other fish that will eat the fry.
