ps. Yes, sadly I do know the berries won’t hatch/survive in a freshwater aquarium

She has a really gorgeous blue shimmer when you look at her just right! Hard to photograph that though.

Maybe the darkness comes with age? Mine used to be transparent all the time. Now I had them for 1.5 years and sometimes I see them in dark grey-blue colour. Then they go back to transparent. I didn't notice it it correlates with being berried. I assumed that they are lighter after a molt and darker as a new molting approaches.

I really like Amano shrimp too. More fish-compatible than cherries, more active than bamboo/vampire. They're not shy and always busy with something, really fun to watch.
