This is RIP Spinel:

I only had him for 1 month he was actively swimming in his 10 gallon planted tank by himself with snails and shrimps then out of sudden he lost his activity and then died he had dropsy symptoms when he died this process only take 48h. My question is why my fish died so quickly and by dropsy while he was in an ideal tank?? Also can dropsy kill a fish this fast after it showed signs of pineconing??

Did you cycle your tank? Have you tested your water for ammonia and nitrites?

Dropsy only occurs when the fish has a compromised immune system. What made him have it? I don't know. Dropsy usually takes longer than that and you have many symptoms to go by to see how long he had dropsy. Before the 48 hrs, was he eating and swimming around? Slightly bloated? It also depends on the severity of the dropsy. How much gram negative bacteria got lodged inside him, took out part of the kidney so he can't excrete fluids fast enough, or took it the entire kidney causing kidney failure (probably your case). He may have had a much worse case of it.

The tank was cycled and everything was balanced. I did realized some bloating and change in the activity 3 days ago I made a post about too but before that he was okay and always come and beg for food during feeding time.
I'm not sure this is important or not but last week I introduced 7 blood merry shrimps and after acclimating I poured all of the water of the bag( with store water) in my tank since I thought this shrimp water and can’t have any dangerous bacterial for fish.

Looks fine to me. Since you've kept him for a month with no problems and then the only changed you made was the shrimps, I'd assume that it was the shrimp. We can't be sure though.

Sorry for your loss. It was probably the shrimp. With store water great it as if it was a disease. Don't let the nasty water touch your clean pristine water.

I understand though the lesson was hard. Now the last question : Is my water safe for new fish?? When I found out about his situation I started treating my tank with medicine and gave him epsom salt bath, tomorrow I will have water change with some decoration changes. After this will my water be safe for fish??
