My betta fish has been constipated for eight days . He is not very bloated his stomach is only mildly swollen so I don’t think he is lethargic yet . yesterday I gave him a frozen pea and so far has not done any thing should I give him another peace of pea ?

My cats name is Loki, hes very mischievous lol. Anyway I would fast him for a few days then see what happens. If nothing try another pea in 3 days or so

How do you know he is constipated? Not to be ugly I've just been keeping bettas for decades and never seen one get constipated....unless you are monitoring 24 hrs a day he might poop when it's dark... I've honestly only actually seen a betta poop a handful of times.
If he is not bloated badly and he ate the pea, no need to give him another one. If you are concerned, fast him for a couple of days.

I agree, ive never seen a betta poop, but I have seen betta poo on the floor of the tank (bare bottom) ive never seen it in my tanks with gravel tho.

I have never ever seen my betta poop. All I see is the pellets he misses (he's old) when I feed him and then they sink to the bottom of the tank.
The only fish I have ever seen bloated was one of my mollies when she overate because I overfed them. But she only looked super bloated because she's pregnant.
Sorry, totally off topic.
