Explain your emergency situation in detail. (Please give a clear explanation of what is going on, include details from the beginning of the illness leading up to now)
What’s unusual was he slept in the afternoon yesterday which he never did. But when i moved the indian almond leaf, he swam and I thought he ws just okay. Today when I woke up, He is already dead. Im not sure with the cause of the death, but these are my suspicions. Please let me know which one is the most possible.
1. His fins seems to continue shredding
3. Removed sand and stone, change 100% water, added aquarium salt and melafix. Reason for this was because I tried a planted tank but found it hard to clean. Could it be because I had too much water change?
1. 25% water change, added aquarium salt
2. Continue melafix
1. Added indian almond leaf
2. Stopped melafix
1. Replaced disposable filter, because it was already a month. Im using aqueon aquarium kit
1. 25% water change, removed talisay, added salt.
1. Added talisay.
1. 50% water change
2. Jasper’s fins continue to improve. Getting a lot better
1. Create bubble nest
1. 50% water change
2. Added aquarium salt
3. Added plastic leaves
1. Repaced new indian almond leaf
2. No longer creating bubble nest, he wasn’t as happy when i added the plastic leaves, don’t lnow if it has harmful chemicals in it? I smoothened it using sandpaper before adding them to the tank
1. 50% water change
2. Didn’t add salt
3. Found him on the bottom of the tank having siesta which is unusual
I think as of now, I’d like to know what I did wrong so I won’t repeat it. And also what to do next. I haven’t check the water today yet.
Thank you so much for your thoughts. I am new to his hobby. I just realized so many so many things can go wrong.
