My angelfish has a possible prolapse?

So ever since I started feeding my angel omega brand shrimp I noticed jus poop is weird. The one day I thought for sure he had a prolapse, but he pooped it out. And while I was observing the angel a snail ate the poop whole ! Today he pooped again and now it looks worse, and it's hanging out but I can't tell if it's him or a huge poop???

 

Looks like a prolapse to me Large frequent water changes may help. Unfortunately there's not much else you can do.

Are the shrimp freeze dried? Are you soaking them in water before feeding?

 

It's frozen. I pop a little cube out if my freezer to feed. I usually just drop it in the water near the filter to blow the pieces around.
It sucks because my angel is super picky and he loves this food

 

I don't think the food caused it, though a frozen shrimp-only diet isn't the healthiest for them.

 

If you want to feed frozen foods you might want to unthaw it in a little cup of tank water first. Alison
