My 90 gallon saltwater reef tank

I've had a 12ga reef for a couple months, then upgraded to a 90ga. So far I've had almost nothing good happen with this tank. My dad got copper in it, and the air is broken today, so the temp is high. I've got a fan and ice bottles on it.

My livestock is...
1 Pacific blue tang
1 Percula clown
1 YT damsel
1 firefish
2 astraea snails (they survived the copper for some reason)

Looks like a beautiful start, despite any tragedies that have befallen it.

Over the past couple of weeks, I got some new livestock for my tank. I got: (one of ea)
Flowerpot Gonipora
Giant Elephantear Mushroom
Branching frogspawn
Green Open brain
Foxface rabbitfish
Bloodshrimp

Everything is doing great now.

Any pictures of the new livestock?

And, just out of curiosity, how did your dad get copper in it? Did he not know it was bad for the tank?

Yes, he didn't know it was bad for the tank. I didn't know he used a copper fitting for the pump (connected the pump to the return line) and so it had been in there for a while.

I'll get pics ASAP, I have to find my camera.

You can run a polyfilter pad by biomarine that will help remove traces of copper though I doubt you will have any problems if your inverts are doing well now.

Are you happy with your blue tang no ich problems?
They are ich nightmares.

Your rock is it Atlantic? I ask as it seems 'bulkier" than Fiji, etc. I have a 125 long just 1 clown trigger I use Atlantic also collected from Key west . I only go 1/2 lb per gallon and it works great .

Foxfaces are underrated great fish great algae eaters and overall neat fish . Sadly with a trigger that's it but I do like him

I have been running polyfilters.
She got Ich once, it was from being moved from LFS to tank, and she broke out badly. I got it to go away within 3days by using advice from someone else.

New pics soon! I just uploaded, gota put them on photobucket to load onto here.
