Do Crested Geckos need a multivitamin? I hear good things about the one from Repcal but I'm not sure if it's really necessary. I do plan on also supplementing Repcal calcium with D3.

They do need a multivitamin dusted over their live insects (crickets, roaches, etc).

They do not need multivitamins added to their regular gecko food, which is a powder you mix with water to make a food paste. The top two brands for crested gecko food are Pangea and Repashy. My geckos all prefer Pangea Insects.

I wouldn’t use rep-cal if you’re going to have to add your own D3, it’s hard to supplement properly. I use Repashy Calcium Plus, it has everything you need and it already has D3 so no need to supplement.

Never add any extra calcium to their food mix. Pangea and Repashy CGD are complete diets and when over supplemented can lead to metabolic bone disease.
