Hey so I plan on moving my 30 gal, into a smaller 20 gal, I would like to carry over some of the drift wood as it's by now already established with BB. However I don't want to carry over the MTS I have in that tank, is there a way I could go about moving the wood without Mts being on it, whilst keeping the BB alive??

You could just take y to pick off all the MTS off the drift wood. You could also put it in a bucket with a heater, temporary filter, and a team of assasian snails overnight (assasian snails kill and eat MTS)
