Moving Houses

I am moving about 45 minutes to an hour away in a couple months but I wanna get prepared for the move so I know what I'm doing earlier rather than scurrying 2 months from now when we're actually moving.

I have 3 fish tanks - 20gal, 29gal, and a 75gal.
My worry is not necessarily the 20 or 29 as much as the 75 is.
My most sensitive fish are my puffer and angel and as much as you can always replace a fish if it dies in transportation, I would prefer to not have to do that. Ya know...

Anyway, I don't really know how to go about moving them.
A friend told me that we could transfer the 40 or so fish I have in my 75 gallon to each of the 29 and 20 for a couple hours or so while we transfer and set up the tank at the new house and then move all the fish (about 60 altogether) to the new house, and put them in the 75 gallon and then finally take the 20 and 29 and bring those to the new house and put the fish to their rightful tank.

I'm not sure if that is the best way to go about it but I also have no other idea on how to do this except for just buying a new tank and setting that up and just moving the rocks/plants/ornaments/bio-media/ect. But that isn't exactly in the budget considering I'm buying a new house

Along with the best move, what else should I prepare for?
Should I be bagging them individually or putting them in a few plastic containers with water in it and a battery operated air pump?? It's only an hour drive but I also don't want suffocate them in my poorly wrapped bags....

Thanks in advance

I used 5 gallon buckets with lids and a large cooler for my oscar. It ended up being a better part of a day for me to get all my tanks tore down moved and set back up. Fish are a lot tougher then we think.

Yeah, when I moved an hour away I just put my angelfish in a bucket with aluminum foil (with holes, of course) to keep it dark and help the fish feel secure. The fish is fine and alive today.

i'm sure it takes longer than I expect...which is why I wanna prepare to hopefully avoid hours of me panicking , which I am sure I will anyway... I do have my friend to help me and his brother, who has had to move his large tanks as well so that will be a little helpful at least

I would say that if you’re willing to make a few trips the way I would do it is first do a water change on 75, get 2 tank dividers (the ones that are screen like where water still flows just not fish) section your 75gal into 3 parts and place fish from 20 gallon and 29 gallon that you aren’t gonna transport first trip in that tank. Set up both tanks at new house then load transported fish in them. Use 5 gal bucket with lid or large cooler w/ lid for transport.. once you get all the fish you are comfortable having in those two transport the remaining and the 75gal on next trip. Then set up and load that one
