Moving betta

I am currently in the process of moving my betta back to her old tank, she is in a 5 gallon but a bunch of snails got in and i am going aqay for the summer to leave her with my parents. I know the population will get out of control when i am gone so i am moving her back to her snail free tank

I am soaking everything i a moving back over in salt water for three hours, 3.5 tbsp for 2/3-3/4 a gallon

Yes sorry, will the sponge filter i had running in my old tank be enough if i add bb from a bottle, before i learnes she survived many full tank clean downs and did just fine

No the old tank is snail free, the sponge filter has been running in the new one but i am salt soaking for 24 hours to kill all snails, had two filters in 5 gal, moving back to three for time being
