Moving 10 Gallon Stuff Over To 20 And Cycling?

Okay if I move my fully cycled 10 gallon water, filter and fish over to the 20 gallon will it stay cycled? I don't want to use the gravel so would leave that behind along with some of the plastic decorations.

As long as you move the filter over at the same time as the fish and do not change or wash the filter media you should be fine

Welcome to Fishlore!
The bacteria that causes the nitrogen cycle lives in your filter, so if you're transferring that over then the cycle should transfer as well, as long as the filter media stays wet.
If you're going to be adding other fish, I recommend adding them slowly over a period of a few weeks to give the bacteria time to catch up with the increased bioload.
Is the filter rated for a 20 gallon or larger?

Should be fine. I would get 2 5 gallon bucket fill them with water from the 10 gallon transfer the fish and filter to the bucket. Before that make sure that u have cleaned the new tank. Then fill the tank just like u would when you change water. Check the ph. Then add the filter and fish. Keep watch on ammonia due to the loss of the substrate.

The filter is not for a 20 gallon I will have to add either another filter or eventually switch it out.. I still don't know for sure if I am going to switch tanks for the current ten or start a whole new tank but I wanted to check to see how difficult it would be to just move the existing fish..

What type of filtration do you have? Also what is your fish stock? A 20 long is going to be better tank. Bigger bio footprint.

You could always buy a filter rated for a 20 gallon and put the filter media from your 10 gallon filter into the 20 gallon filter.

I do have a filter rated for a 50 gallon, I don't know if its too strong for a 20. Its a Fluval C3 hob style. I only have 3 fish ATM, I did the bad fish cycle with real fish. So I have one lonely guppy and two platys. I don't really care for the platies, I got ugly ones on purpose for the cycling. But I used that SafeStart (for fast cycling). I only had one ammonia spike.

Honestly I don't know what I want to stock the tank with. Hard water fish preferably. I really really would love a bunch of pygmy corys but don't know where to get them.

About 6 months ago, I went form a 10 to a 26 gallon long. Obviously I got new filtration to go with the new tank. I added substrate for plants and used all my water from the 10 and a few rocks that I put in there a month prior to the upgrade. I ran the 10 gallon filter in conjunction to my new filter for 3 months. I didn't need to go that long but did so just to be safe. I had no issues in the transfer. As long as you run the old filter on the new tank for a while, you should have no issues.

Its not to strong. When I had a 20 long, I had a Magnum 350 on my 20 long. It was perfect.
Just transfer the old media to the new filter, and you're good to go. You may go through a minI cycle, but that will only last about 2-3 days.
