I totally see that snail as one of those old monster/godzilla films.

Like stated above: Malaysian trumpet snail or MTS
They're considered pest snails because they reproduce like crazy (livebearers and about 70 babies) but they do have benefits like they dig and sift through the sand.
Fun fact is that a female never needs a male. If there's a large enough food source available they will clone themselves. They say that the majority of MTS in LFS are clones

 

I've been waiting for mine to reproduce for months still nothing

 

Maybe you have only males? Want some of mine? Lol

Try dropping an algae wafer or veg if they feel they have enough food they'll populate. 70 babies....
