Most Nutritious Meaty Food?

For example, I’ve heard that adult brine shrimp aren’t super nutritious but still great for variety.
What are some of the more nutritious frozen and freeze dried food options and do some have different strengths?

Like:
cyclops
tubifex
bloodworms
fluval bug bites
brine shrimp

I know hikarI advertises they “gut load” them with vitamins. Thoughts on spirulina vs original brine shrimp and things like that?
Variety is the secret for sure, but I’m curious about the individual strengths/properties of these anyway.

Mysis Shrimp is a good one.
Ooooo I like it, another one to add to the rotation. I saw that at the LFS but for some reason I thought it was only for saltwater, probably because of the giant seahorse on the packaging lol

Try getting a vitamin supplement like VitaChem.

I soak all frozen foods in that before I feed my fish.

I think it's mainly used in saltwater, but there's no reason why freshwater fish wouldn't enjoy it either. I had a betta that LOVED mysis.

Thanks, I keep forgetting to do this. If they were already gut loaded with vitamins I hope it’s not overkill because I know too many vitamins can be hard on an animal but I’m bet it’s fine.
I notice cyclops are kind of an orangey color, I wonder if they have more carotenoids or something else more nutritious than other types.
