Yeah, I think so. At least that was his colour, so I assume that's his breed. Actually. Saw him today again and he was only for 1250 euros, instead of 1500. If we wait long enough...

Arowanas are popular at one of our LFS, and are definitely the most pricey fish in the joint. They get beautiful huge tanks to themselves, too, for how much they are worth! There are frequently fish over $2500, but a couple years ago there was a high-back Malaysian blue/gold one for something like $4000 dollars, and I believe that other rare ones have gone for almost twice that. (Canadian dollars)

Yesterday I saw this Fish in a Marine Tank and I just couldnt get my eyes off it. It was so beautiful (looked very tasty too) :-* I think it was an angel fish. I asked the price and it was $1000 and that was the end of that. My question is does any one have any names, photos or videos of some very expensive fish?

I recently went Long Beach Aquarium, in Cali. Its one of the biggest aquariums in US, I believe. I took some videos, although the is not so sharp but they came out good. There are lots of videos, which I want everyone to see and enjoy. I want to know how I can post them. Please help me out. Some of them are very awesome.

You know that white arowana up there^? MFK had a contest for whoever could get something like a million posts they got one for free. I don't know if anyone got it though.

The most expensive fish I have ever seen was a platinum Gin-Rin koi or Kin-Rin koi (don't remember), 4 1/2 feet long go for 1.2 million USD. I don't get it, I could get a 5" one for 10 bucks and would rather wait for it to grow. The second most expensive fish I have seen was a blue lobster, only it was about 2 feet long and was salt water, he was 460,000 USD, if I had a saltwater tank I would have loved him, he was the color of one of the aquarium background light blues with dark blue streaks and looked like he easily weighed 30 pounds. YUMMY! That is one pricy meal!

I thought it would be cool to see what some of the most expensive/rare fish people have are. So why not post pics if you have it and a little info and price if you're comfortable. I just set up my saltwater tank about 3 months ago so so far the most expensive fish i've owned is my 60 dollar yellow tang. Typical, but still a wonderful fish!
