So, as I watch my Clown Loaches, and Black Ghost Knife in my aquarium. I can't help but wonder what everyone else's favorite fish to watch is. It's a tough one between these two for me. Both are full of great personality and life.

It’d probably be my bosamanis for me, they’re always doing something.

I haven’t found mine to be to mean, they do chase eachother and nip occasionally, but that also probably has to do with the fact I have 1 female and the rest males(not intentional, I’ll probably rehome her come spring). My oldest bosamanI can be a little mean sometimes though. He’s like an old grandpa(he’s around 4-5 where the rest are 1-2) who hates being around them kiddos. Espically when I first got them. It’s funny because I thought he’d be so happy to finally have a school, nope, I think he rather be by himself or have the company of my rainbow shark(he sometimes follow the rainbow shark around). The serpeas also get in trouble with the other fish occasionally, they’re the mischievous ones, the bosamanis are the crazy ones, and my grandpa bosamanI and rainbow shark just put up with the antics. I have a very entertaining tank all around I think lol.

My Rainbows like to nip at anything their size or even slightly smaller. Except the Clown Loaches, but they school tightly and defend each other. I have some EBA's that are just bigger than them, and they scurry away from them. They are like the protectors of the tank. I also have a Redfin Prochildous that's the king of the tank. He's quite a bit bigger than the rest

Maybe they act differently since we have different setups. Funfish regardlessthough!

Clown Loaches when they are feeding and interacting, but they spend lots of time chilling out.

Red-tailed Black Shark is on the move more and the movements are graceful.

True, they do spend lots of time just chilling. When they are active though, they are great to watch.

My Boeseman's were mean with each other too. I prefer larger tetras and have Congos now.

My large Zebra Tilapia.

He's an absolute nut case, still manages to break heaters (with heater guards) filter tubes and his latest stunt is trying to break the aquarium light unit lol. Crazy fish but with loads of personality

I three different types of Rainbow fish in my tank. They're all good community fish.
I sit on the left side of the tank in the living room, and they've all decided that side is
where they'll 'hang out'. They occasionally swim around, but keeping an eye on me
(the 'food guy') is seemingly important. They never bother the Serpae or Black fin Tetras,
but do investigate their goings on.

I'd have to say the most interesting fish I've ever had would be Lake Victoria Haps.
My tank had Thick Lips, Flamebacks and Kenya Golds in a 55g. There was always
something going on in that tank. Like an underwater soap opera. Great viewing tank.

My EBA's are just like your Rainbows. My couch is relatively close to the tank, and if I'm on it. They are swarmed on that side of the tank.

I've heard about Oto's being full of personality.
I wouldn’t say they have personality, but they’re fun to watch, because they’re active grazers. My clown is amusing when she’s out and about and feeding too.

It may be strange but my fave to watch are corydoras, I just enjoy watching them playing in the sand and exploring. Also shrimp too, Its really cool to watch them swim around to graze, when they eat it looks more like a dance to me.

Corys are fun to watch when they are active for sure. Before I got my Clown Loaches and BGK, they were my favorite
