Most Beautiful Fish!

Hehe, I own the most beautiful betta ever!




Now, he may not be the most beautiful to anybody else, but he is to me. Strange thing is that I bought this little treasure at PetCo. Don't know how they could have gotten ahold of the little guy, but I'm glad they did. Bad part? Eh, he's the second betta I've bought in a week... I bought an arrogant king betta that was almost as long as his cup he was in... $5 and marked as "giant." Anyways, *gets back in subject* my little rainbow is a delta tail, as far as the lid's concerned. I don't know much about betta conformation, but does he look like a delta tail? And, I need help with a name! I keep calling him my little rainbow, but I have a strange feeling it's hurting his masculinity Lol, that and his purple themed tank!

I like Castor. Nobody will get the Tron reference though.

Once you start buying them, it's hard to stop. I have 5 now.

 

Let's see... For my male bettas, I have Quazi(blue crowntail) Dragon(cambodian crowntail) Mistake(blue veiltail) Sunny(yellow veiltail) the new king betta, and this guy... So that'd be 6 males. Then there's the female bettas... Lol it is very addicting for me... I see a pretty color and fall in love, and then of course he HAS to come home with me... I've recently thought about organizing them all in a row on one shelf...

I'm also looking for a name for the king, but I'm definitely thinking that it has to be an arrogant name... He loves flashing at the tank walls 24/7. I'm honestly worried about him hurting himself.

Edit- I've watched some of the Tron stuff, but don't remember Castor?

 

Castor was all Zues, the guy they came to for help and then betrays them. He was very flashy ;D

My king is like that too, I named him Odin. I love showing him off lol.

 

Ah! I remember! You know, the bad thing is that my king has one of those needle point dividers, and on the other side is a female betta. He can see her fine, and just ignores her. But he'll spend hours following the glass walls and flashing. It's really cute, but a little worrisome at times.
