Hey guys! One of my good friends has a young red-eared slider turtle and recently has been having issues with moss growing in her tank. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to handle this? Water treatments? Certain fish or snails that might eat it away? Thanks!

    Moss? Do you mean algae?

I don’t know, I asked her the same thing and she insists on it being moss. Honestly, I can’t argue because I don’t know the difference.

Is it possible to get a picture? ask for one, that would help on trying to remove it.

Here’s the picture she sent me. Just passing on what she said: she’s wondering if it’s marimo moss?
