Considering buying some plants to cover parts of my substrate or various rocks in the aquarium. Can anyone please help me and identify some good mossy plants which stay nice and low down and down totally outgrow the aquarium faster than you can cut them.

Just put a post in your other thread about attached plants. Don't know that any of them are particularly fast growing. I think the fastest would probably be Java Moss. It takes awhile for it to get properly attached but once it has it grows pretty well. Anubius Nana 'Petite' or other variants of Anubius Nana would offer nice contrast to your other plants.
