Hey everyone! So i currently have a 37 gallon tank with 6 julii Cory, 1 rubberlip pleco, 10 neon tetras, 2 platys(probably adding 1-2 more), 3 mollys and a dwarf gourami. I would like to up the Cory school a bit as they seem kind of inactive. I was curious as to how many more i could add? My filtration is also very good, i have a penguin biowheel 350b. Also i read that they need to be in even number groups, is that true?
thanks for your help!

Ok, The pleco will get very big and produces a lot of ammonia even when it isn't full grown. But still your tank is a little under stocked so maybe 4 more corys possibly more. But you might want to move that pleco eventually because it might get a little too big for you tank. But that is just my opinion.

I've never heard of them needing to be kept in even numbers, they absolutely can be kept in odd numbers.

SouthAmericanCichlids was probably thinking of common plecos. I haven't kept rubber lipped plecos, but I believe you're right about them staying smaller. The information I've seem online ranges from 4" to 7".

With it being a more narrow footprint, i'd do at max 8-9 total. Rubberlip plecos generally only get up to 5", their poops are nowhere near as bad as commons because you can actually siphon them out at full size.

Ok thanks! Does anyone know of a good reliable source to buy the corys from? I would go to my LFS but because of Covid-19 i can’t.

They are C.trilineatus.
Maybe waiting till the Covid-crisis is over and you can go to your own LFS which will have a hard time as well ?

I found a good place to buy from so i think I’m going to do online. My question is should i get 2 or 3 more? I’m not sure because my tank is already a bit overstocked and idk if 3 would be ok. Or will it not really matter sense it only a difference of 1?

If you already have 6 corys, I would just get 2 more.
