Molly looking for something in tank ... not sure 10 Gallon Tank

i have a yellow female molly in my 10 gallon tank i see it always trying to find something ... behavior is like it hits the decoration as if its trying to find food in those decorations .. for example ..hitting the wood decoration and other decoration with its mouth ..is this behavior common with molly ?

Please help

Does it look like it is kissing the surface of the plants and wood? If so, yes, that is completely normal. Mollies and other livebearers do this because they are omnivores, as in, they need meats, as well as vegetation in their diet. It's pretty simple, algae grows on stuff, the mollies pick the algae off and eat it. It's totally normal, there isn't a thing to worry about.

Mollies are pretty good algae eaters. Not as good as snails, but still good. Plus they're little piggies that like to eat so they're always grazing.
