Mollies And Apple Snail Compatibility Issues

So I have some mollies that have been bothering & picking at my apple snail. I'm not sure but I think they may be hurting him. Are these fish compatible with these snails?

 

First of all I want to forewarn you that apple snails get massive and if they're only in a tank it's probably not that large so that was just to warn you. But anyways it is common behavior for mainly territorial fish to pick up a snail and remove it to another place in the tank so if you're molly's are breeding then that may be the reason they are doing that or they just are holding a grudge against the snail but as long as the snail has a calcium rich diet and it's shell is getting larger and it's growing it should be fine.

Ok. I'm not certain is an apple snail. My girlfriend bought it & can't remember what type but from what I've seen omline it looks like an apple snail. It's funny you mention breeding tho bcuz although I'm not certain I think the mollies are breeding.

 

I think the snail is fine then even if it is not an apple snail and just fyI mollies are livebearers in case you didn't know.
